David began life in Southern California and later enjoyed a whole different kind of Southern culture when his family relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee. He went on to attend Arizona State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in finance with a real estate emphasis. David began his real estate career working in the commercial sector, first for Australia-based LJ Hooker, and later for Leo Eisenberg & Company, then the largest developer of shopping centers in the nation. Eisenberg is well-known for his longtime relationship with Sam Walton and for building Wal Mart stores throughout the Midwest during the height of the company's growth.
Working for an enterprising real estate icon like Eisenberg, who was also willing to share the secrets of his success, was an outstanding opportunity for David as a young professional. David incorporated lessons from Eisenberg that remain a part of his service philosophy today. "He used to talk about getting his start selling hotels," David says. "What I took away is the idea of making a plan, and then working your plan. It means setting goals and then looking for opportunities to fulfill them. Your objectives don't have to be complicated. In fact, easier is better."
His methodical follow-through and dynamic connection with people served David well as he moved into corporate sales for Cox Enterprises, where he advanced to regional manager and oversaw direct response media in Southern California. David later became a successful marketing entrepreneur, while maintaining his association with real estate and mortgage finance. When the time was right, David returned full time to real estate and sought a place with Nicolas Nicolaou Real Estate Services, recognized as Anaheim Hills' top-producing real estate team in 2016.
